As we come together in Amsterdam to celebrate World Pride, we also want to stand in solidarity with the many LGBTQIA+ people in the Netherlands and around the world who are still fighting for the right to live openly, safely, and authentically. While many of us are fortunate to be welcomed, supported, and celebrated, we must not forget those who continue to face discrimination, exclusion, and threats to their fundamental rights. Pride is both a celebration and a reminder that the journey towards equality is not yet complete.
