Friends & Family Fighting for a Cure for SMA and Other Neuromuscular Diseases SMART is a grass roots organization started in 2009 by a group of friends from Buffalo, NY to raise awareness and funds for research aimed at finding a cure for SMA and related diseases. Our mission is one of HOPE for a better life, new treatments and ultimately a cure for those affected by SMA.
