This non-profit is near and dear to my heart. I personally work with Project Transitions by cooking for one of their residential homes in Austin, TX. This is an underrepresented and discriminated community that needs our help. The stigma behind HIV/AIDS significantly impacts the health, lives and well-being of people living with or at risk of HIV, especially key populations. "We will never end the HIV epidemic unless we provide stable housing and care for those often left behind. That is why Project Transitions is building desperately needed housing that will feature wrap-around support services to ensure medication and treatment adherence, bring more people to undetectable + untransmittable, and bring us closer to an HIV-free Austin." - PT
