About

As part of their COVID-19 Relief campaign, Jagruthi trust is helping the needy families to help buy basic raw materials/ food/ medicines in addition helping the poor children in their learning. ++ The children attend MEG School (over 350 students) managed by the Trust ++ Aims to reach out to 500 families around Cox town area to help them in their needs. ++ 60 children in the home care center looking for virtual learning. ++ 8 girls are in Grade X now writing board exams –contribute to help with laptops to these girls to enable them for their future courses. ++ Virtual classes using Cisco WebEx for students in a home care center (All Govt. permissions required for community intervention have been secure by the organization)

Jagruthi Trust

A Non-Government Organization established in 1996 in Bengaluru, focusing on rescuing, rehabilitating and reintegrating needy children under ‘high risk behavior’ who are vulnerable to various forms of abuse and exploitation, children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS, AIDS Orphans, and Children on the street, and who are from marginalized communities. Child Care, Health Care, Nutrition and Education- is the major focus. They have Playschools, Health Care Clinics, Home Care Centers, Vocational Training/Career Guidance Centers and also run a Formal School supporting over 600 children on a yearly basis. In short, Jagruthi Trust is working for the benefit and improvement of vulnerable women and children in Bangalore.
