Haven House - Poetry Slam Swag Bags Fund

We are partnering with Haven House & Project Catch (a Salvation Army program) to organize a Poetry Slam featuring youth and children (ages 6-18) who are experiencing homelessness. This event is to celebrate Project Catch's 10-year anniversary, plus raise awareness of the issue of youth homelessness. We will be putting together "swag bags" including chapstick, umbrellas, sunscreen, ponchos, kids and adult sizes, journal/planner, activity books with markers/crayons, headphones, gift cards to Target or Walmart, etc. All money raised will be doubled (thanks Cisco!) and then a small group of us will gather the money in September and purchase the bags for the event.
