Animal Save Nederland
Green ASML selected Animal Save due to its effectiveness in policy changes.
The plant based treaty is a part of the Animal Save organization and they achieved the commitment of the municipality of Amsterdam in signing the Plant based Treaty. This is accelerating the protein transition and therefore reducing the GHG emissions and dead zones in the ocean.
Junglekeepers
Green ASML selected Junglekeepers due to its effectiveness in combating deforestation in the Amazonian region of Peru.
Instead of planting trees, it is even more important to conserve old trees and their biodiverse environment. Junglekeepers does this in the Amazon in Peru.

Junglekeepers has provided proof of concept of what it takes to sustainably protect more than 77,000 acres of land. For more than 2 years we've been protecting the land, pushed back on illegal logging, documented the number of unique species endemic to the region.
Our methods work. Within the current boundaries of the reserve we have seen incidents of illegal logging drop by over 90% and incidents of illegal land acquisition drop to almost zero. Our rangers patrol hundreds of kilometers per year. Within the Junglekeepers protected land, the animals are safe, the ancient trees are safe, and the forest is free to function as it has for millions of years.
For each $100 donated to Junglekeepers, we use:
$60 for direct land acquisition: the best way to guarantee the land is protected is to own it. This is the only way to fight against illegal logging and land grabs
$34 for our ranger program: salary of ranger and admin staff, buy food, equipment, maintain our boats, ranger stations and other operational expenses
$4 for legal & administrative fees
$2 for our science & research program

Instituto Terra
Green ASML selected Instituto Terra due to the effectiveness in reforestation the Atlantic forest region and regenerative agriculture program.
This NGO was founded by world‑renowned photographer Sebastião Salgado and his wife, designer and environmental advocate Lélia Deluiz Wanick Salgado. Their work began on a severely degraded former cattle ranch in the Rio Doce Valley (Minas Gerais, Brazil), transforming it into a model of large‑scale ecological restoration.
What started with this farm has now expanded to more than 2,346 hectares reforested. Over 2.5 million native trees have been planted. This reforestation project in the primary Atlantic Forest is crucial to bring back the biodiversity and ecosystem. Their program is also training people and working together with communities to promote regenerative agriculture. The holistic approach of this NGO is why Green selected this NGO.
